Aimeé A. Treviño is the founder and owner of The Law Office of Aimeé A. Treviño, PLLC. Ms. Treviño is an experienced South Texas attorney proudly serving clients throughout Brownsville, Cameron County, Willacy County, Hidalgo County, and the Rio Grande Valley. Born and raised in Brownsville, Texas, Attorney Treviño understands the local courts, prosecutors, and legal landscape—and uses that knowledge to fight aggressively for her clients.

Attorney Treviño focuses her practice on criminal defense, family law, immigration, and juvenile cases, representing individuals facing serious charges and life-changing legal issues. She is known for her strategic advocacy, direct communication style, and commitment to protecting her clients’ rights, freedom, and future.

 

She earned her Bachelor of Arts in International and Global Studies, with a minor in Philosophy, from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, graduating cum laude in 2020. Attorney Treviño received her Juris Doctor from Marquette University Law School in 2023, where she developed strong trial and litigation skills that now guide her courtroom advocacy.

 

Attorney Treviño is licensed to practice law in Texas and Wisconsin, as well as in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas. She regularly represents clients in misdemeanor and felony criminal cases, including DWI, drug offenses, assault, and juvenile matters, as well as family law cases involving custody, divorce, and protective orders, and immigration matters affecting families and individuals seeking lawful status.

 

Attorney Treviño is licensed to practice in Texas, Wisconsin, and in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas. She is also a member of the State Bar of Texas, the Cameron County Bar Association, the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, the Hidalgo County Bar Association, and the State Bar of Wisconsin.

 

In recognition of her dedication to criminal defense, Attorney Treviño was selected as a 2025 and 2026 National Trial Lawyers “Top 40 Under 40” Criminal Defense Trial Lawyer—an honor reserved for attorneys who demonstrate superior trial results and leadership in the legal community.
